Description:

The Austin Coalition for Life is a community based pro-life organization of individuals and churches wishing to build a culture of LIFE in Austin, Texas. In raising community awareness about the reality of abortion we also focus on directing women in unplanned pregnancies to resource centers to help them and their baby boys or girls throughout their pregnancy.

Once a year our “Austin Is Prolife” Benefit Dinner is organized to raise funds for the Austin Coalition for Life.

You can be a part of creating a city with no abortion clinics by coming to our Benefit Dinner and partnering with our mission of ending abortion in Austin.

This year’s guest speaker is none other than the dynamic, articulate and convicting David Bereit.

David Bereit, founder and director of 40 Days for Life

David left the security of his job to give himself entirely to the pro-life movement. After starting the Brazos Valley Coalition for Life, David moved on to Washington D.C. where he spear-headed the international pro-life movement that has taken our country by storm, 40 Days for Life.

    About Heather

When I first heard about people praying outside of abortion clinics as a freshman at Texas A&M University, the thought really shook me. I never thought I'd get so involved, but God had other plans (as He often does). I stepped out of my comfort zone, and eventually became trained as a Sidewalk Counselor in 2007. Since then I have been taking up regular prayer time outside abortion clinics in Texas. I now have the honor of training Sidewalk Counselors, mobilizing Christians in the community, and witnessing miracles on a regular basis. I have been blessed to work alongside hundreds of pro-life advocates and be apart of God's mission to change hearts and save lives.
